Easter DIY Projects

Easter is just around the corner, to bring some of that Easter magic into your home and celebrate we came up with three trendy, affordable and creative projects that your little ones will love.
 

Bunnies in a jar

 
_BlogSquare Double bunnies
 
You will need:
-Mason jars
-Ribbon
-Mini eggs
-Chocolate bunnies
-Fake grass
 
Method:
-All you need to do is assemble the items together to look like the about picture.
 

Tree of mini eggs

 
_BlogSquare Double tree
 
You will need:
-2 bags of mini eggs
-Vase
-Hot glue gun
-Small tree / branch
-Hair dryer (not essential)
 
Method:
-Stabilise the branches into the vase of your choice
-Glue mini eggs on the branches with the glue gun
*You will most likely end up with a lot of glue strings, you can use a hot hair dryer to melt them into oblivion.
 

Rice Krispies nests (6)

 
_BlogSquare Double nest
 
You will need:
-Butter
-1 large bag of white marshmallows
-1 box of Rice Krispies
-1 bag of mini eggs
-Fake grass
-Muffin pan
-Spoon
 
Method:
-In a large saucepan melt butter over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat.
-Add Rice Krispies cereal. Stir until well coated.
-Divide warm mixture into muffin-pan cups coated with cooking spray. Shape mixture into nests (you might want to use a spoon for that part).
-Cool down in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
-Fill cooled nests with fake grass and mini eggs. Best if served the same day.
