A little over a week till Easter!! Have you prepared your eggs? Your bunnies? Ha!
You all know we loooove looking through Pinterest for some inspiration! And of course, we found a fun and easy way to make a cake topper that kids will surely adore!
Things you need:
- Bunny templates
- Fluffy pompoms (assorted colours)
For this DIY, we used already made cupcakes from Coles. But you can definitely bake your own- It’d be fun to do with the kids! So while you’re waiting for the sweets to bake, you can start on making the toppers.
To begin with, cut out the bunny templates. You can choose whatever coloured paper you want, or stick with white. Your choice! The fluffy pompoms will serve as the tail of the bunnies, so we tape/glue the pompoms at the bottom. This gives texture and 3D effect to your cake topper.
Tape your Easter bunny cut outs on the tip off the toothpicks, and there you have it! Extremely easy to make and affordable!
For a little more decoration, we added a vase full of Easter Eggs to act as a centrepiece. You can definitely do this as well!
